Image of the Day

This image was posted onto Flickr. One of the groups I published the image to was "amateurastrophotography". My image was selected as image of the day which I was very pleased about. Considering some of the other well known names chosen previously made me very chuffed.

This is how I found out from their comments on my Flickr post.

All About Space magazine

This publication is all about Deep Space, Solar System and Exploration. They have some wonderful features and guides to stargazing. Reviews of Equipment, books, software are some of my favourite sections.

There is a section called "Me and My telescope" where they publish reader contribution from all over the planet Earth. If you send your Astro images to space@spaceanswers.com they may well publish your pictures.

Photographing Space

This website is absolute gold for astro photographers of all levels. Blogs, Tutorials, competitions and support. My article "20 Seconds to Success" was featured in the "behind the image" section. Authors write about how they achieved their results. Some very interesting stuff. Cory and Tanja Schmitz run the site which is rapidly becoming a frequently turned location for aspiring space photographers.

My article can be found here.  https://photographingspace.com/behind-image-20-seconds-success/

BBC Sky at Night

There is a Flickr group dedicated to The Sky at Night website. Most of my posted images to Flickr are added to this group. On occasions they are featured on the BBC site. In April 2016 my Solar image was used in the "Galleries" section.
